Abstrak

Studi ini mengkaji upaya penanggulangan kemiskinan di Kabupaten Sumbawa melalui perspektif Model Koneksi Sosial yang diusulkan oleh Iris Marion Young. Meskipun telah dilakukan berbagai intervensi pemerintah, kemiskinan tetap menjadi tantangan yang berkelanjutan di kabupaten ini. Studi ini menyelidiki bagaimana penguatan koneksi sosial antar pemangku kepentingan (lembaga pemerintah, masyarakat lokal, sektor swasta, dan organisasi masyarakat sipil) dapat menciptakan strategi penanggulangan kemiskinan yang lebih efektif. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif, studi ini mengidentifikasi hambatan struktural dalam penanggulangan kemiskinan dan mengeksplorasi bagaimana tanggung jawab kolektif dan aksi bersama dapat mengatasi hambatan tersebut. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemiskinan di Kabupaten Sumbawa diperparah oleh lemahnya koordinasi antarlembaga, terbatasnya partisipasi masyarakat dalam pengembangan kebijakan, dan kurangnya perhatian terhadap konteks lokal dan faktor budaya. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa penerapan prinsip-prinsip Model Koneksi Sosial, seperti tanggung jawab kolektif, tindakan berwawasan ke depan, dan tata kelola kolaboratif, dapat meningkatkan hasil penanggulangan kemiskinan secara signifikan. Penelitian ini berkontribusi pada perkembangan literatur tentang pendekatan partisipatif dalam penanggulangan kemiskinan dengan menawarkan wawasan praktis bagi para pembuat kebijakan dan praktisi pembangunan yang bekerja di konteks pedesaan Indonesia.
