Abstrak

Filantropi di Indonesia berakar kuat pada tradisi lokal dan semangat kerja sama komunal, menjadikannya aspek fundamental kehidupan sosial. Konsep kewarganegaraan di Indonesia melampaui definisi hukum dan politik, mencakup nilai-nilai sosial budaya yang diungkapkan melalui beragam praktik filantropi. Studi ini mengeksplorasi bagaimana tradisi lokal dan dinamika antara solidaritas mekanis dan organik membentuk kerangka sosial budaya filantropi dan memengaruhi pembangunan sipil. Para peneliti mensurvei 387 responden di tujuh wilayah utama: Yogyakarta, Bandung, Jakarta, Makassar, Medan, Denpasar, dan Samarinda. Pengumpulan data difokuskan pada kesadaran komunal, praktik tradisional, dan peran solidaritas dalam upaya amal. Analisis regresi berganda mengungkapkan bahwa tradisi lokal berkontribusi 35% terhadap penguatan nilai-nilai filantropi. Solidaritas mekanis, yang berakar pada keyakinan bersama, menyumbang 25%, sementara solidaritas organik, yang didorong oleh peran fungsional, menyumbang 20%. Interaksi antara tradisi dan modernitas menambah 20%. Temuan-temuan ini menyoroti bahwa tradisi budaya dan perpaduan solidaritas mekanis dan organik merupakan fondasi vital bagi pembangunan kesadaran sosial. Penelitian ini menggarisbawahi pentingnya kolaborasi yang lebih kuat antara lembaga pemerintah dan masyarakat untuk mengintegrasikan unsur-unsur budaya ini ke dalam gerakan filantropi Indonesia yang modern dan berorientasi kewarganegaraan.
