Mengembangkan Potensi Lokal di Desa Bahu Palawa, Kabupaten Pulang Pisau, Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah

Kebijakan pemerintah tentang dana desa bertujuan untuk mendorong kemandirian desa. Kemandirian desa dapat difokuskan pada pembangunan berbasis potensi lokal. Penelitian mengenai pembangunan desa berbasis potensi lokal belum banyak yang mengeksplorasi isu inklusi sosial dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menganalisis pendekatan inklusi sosial dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam pengembangan potensi lokal di Desa Bahu Palawa. Inklusi sosial dan pemberdayaan masyarakat menjadi penting untuk dikaji karena kedua aspek ini berperan dalam mendorong pembangunan yang lebih adil, partisipatif, dan berkelanjutan. Penelitian ini menggunakan kerangka teori Bennett (2003) mengenai inklusi sosial dan pemberdayaan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan menggunakan tiga teknik pengumpulan data: observasi, wawancara mendalam, dan studi dokumen dan literatur. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pemerintah Desa Bahu Palawa telah berupaya mendorong inklusi sosial dan pemberdayaan masyarakat dalam mengembangkan potensi lokal. Inklusi sosial dan pemberdayaan masyarakat belum berjalan optimal karena kurangnya akses terhadap pelayanan dasar, kesadaran dan pengetahuan, keterbatasan infrastruktur, kesenjangan ekonomi, dan belum efektifnya program pemberdayaan masyarakat. Kondisi ini menghambat partisipasi masyarakat dan membuat mereka tidak dapat terlibat secara penuh dalam pembangunan desa. Kesimpulannya, pengembangan potensi lokal membutuhkan pengembangan inklusi sosial dan pemberdayaan masyarakat yang holistik. Hal ini dapat dilakukan melalui kolaborasi dengan fokus pada peningkatan kapasitas lokal.
